Kamper was found straying on the streets of the city and had a horrendous wound that had been caused by being shot by an air gun. Whether he was shot deliberately or not we will never know, but he was suffering and in incredible pain so the local shelter took him in and patched him up. Now he is looking for that comfortable bed and warm loving home.
Kamper is a loving and loyal boy with infinite amounts of energy so is looking for a home that can keep up with his demands. He is energetic and loves nothing more than running after a ball or out in the fields. He is good on the lead and enjoys being outside whatever the weather. He would also respond really well to training as his devotion to those he loves knows no bounds and he is eager to please.
Kamper is good with other dogs but will be shy at first and just needs to get used to being around them, he could live with a calm older dog. He is not good with cats and cannot be around small furry animals.
Kamper is very much a happy boy and will bring laughter and joy to any family home, he really will make a great addition. He has so much lover to offer but continues to be overlooked. If you're interested in offer Kamper a home please get in touch!

Dennis is a beautiful looking dog who is very energetic, full of personality, extremely clever and eager to please. He is in good health with a soft shiny coat. Dennis tends to be a bit nervous in unfamiliar surroundings but quickly settles. He is outgoing and loves to spend his time interacting with other dogs. He needs to be mentally and physically stimulated due to his breed and sometimes a bit too clever for his own good - give him a trick and he will suss it out in seconds! He requires a fair amount of exercise and LOVES being outdoors - exploring new places is his favourite thing to do and you can guarantee a sleepy pup on the car ride home.
Dennis will be well suited to an active family who are able to give him the attention he deserves. He is fine to be by himself for a few hours as he loves playing with his toys. Dennis is a loving, affectionate dog, he is great with other dogs, intelligent and walks well on the lead.

Clara and the rest of the litter were discovered upon our visit to Bosnia with their mother, abandoned inside the remains of a ruined house. This is a common dumping ground for litters of unwanted puppies and many puppies often don't survive their harsh treatment. Luckily, we came across this litter hours after they were dumped and were able to offer them some food, water and comfort before finding them a place in a shelter.
Clara is one of two females within the litter and bosses the boys around to keep them in order. She enjoys rough and tumble play and is a confident little puppy once she gets to know people. Clara is a friendly dog with a laidback disposition and her young age means she is adaptable to change, making her easy to integrate into a new home. She loves being cuddled and enjoys chasing after her brothers, so a home with a garden would be preferable for this little lady.
We believe that Clara will grow to be medium in size as an adult, but is a complete mix of Bosnian native breeds so we can't specify exactly what she's made up of. She is well socialised with other dogs and is young enough to be introduced to a home with children so long as they are respectful of rescue dogs and their space.
If you're interested in offering Clara a home please get in touch!

Cooper and the rest of the litter were discovered upon our visit to Bosnia with their mother, abandoned inside the remains of a ruined house. This is a common dumping ground for litters of unwanted puppies and many puppies often don't survive their harsh treatment. Luckily, we came across this litter hours after they were dumped and were able to offer them some food, water and comfort before finding them a place in a shelter.
Cooper is an explorer and would enjoy a home in a more rural area where there are nice surrounding areas for him to investigate. He is confident and sweet natured, enjoys a cuddle and likes to be around humans. Despite his rough beginning he has now built positive relationships with people and adapts well to new situations.
Cooper will be a medium sized dog as an adult and will enjoy a moderately active lifestyle. He is well socialised with other dogs and friendly with everyone he meets, so would make a lovely companion given the chance.

Meet Axel. He's a simply gorgeous Lab cross and was found as a stray, scavenging the streets and bins of Cyprus for food. His colour makes him particularly undesirable among locals, so unfortunately Axel wasn't treated very kindly but this hasn't knocked his confidence with humans at all. He remains bouncy, enthusiastic and sweet natured towards everyone, on a mission to befriend all.
Axel is a larger sized dog and will need an active lifestyle. He is smart and very loyal, so will make an excellent friend. Although he loves to run and play, Axel is calm when needed and can read human signals well. He would love training sessions to help stimulate his mind and to build a strong bond with his new owners. He is gentle and very affectionate, and now he just needs to find his forever home to receive the love and care he desperately deserves.

Calvin and the rest of the litter were discovered upon our visit to Bosnia with their mother, abandoned inside the remains of a ruined house. This is a common dumping ground for litters of unwanted puppies and many puppies often don't survive their harsh treatment. Luckily, we came across this litter hours after they were dumped and were able to offer them some food, water and comfort before finding them a place in a shelter.
Calvin is a real cutie. He has light markings above his eyes that look like little eyebrows and provide added character. This sweet boy loves attention and is a sucker for cuddles. His affectionate nature and gentle personality are great traits for a family dog, and with a little patience we can see Calvin becoming a great companion.
Calvin will be ready to rehome at 4 months old, the perfect age to integrate a puppy into a new environment due to their adaptability and impressionable natures. He will grow to be medium size and would be happy in a home with a garden. He can also be rehomed with other dogs and children, as he has no issues with either but younger children need to be aware of the needs of a rescue dog and their space. We don't want to overwhelm Calvin, especially after his rough start in life.

On a recent WAHF project visit to Bosnia, Barney was one of the lucky dogs we managed to rescue from a horrific public shelter and take to the safety of a foster home. Although he was a little shy when we first met him, we won his trust after a couple of days and his potential as a companion began to become obvious. There was no way we could leave him behind in the shelter.
Barney will grow to be a medium to large sized adult and is a mix of Bosnian native breeds alongside what we think is some Collie. He can be a little nervous in new situations but is learning to trust more quickly every day as he meets lots of new people and watches the way in which the other foster dogs react. Barney loves to be with other dogs and we believe he would enjoy a life with another dog in the home rather than being by himself. He is playful and affectionate with other dogs, but also quite submissive which means he gets along with everyone.
Barney has a gentle nature and a sweet, laid back disposition. He would be well suited to a life in a semi-rural environment and definitely needs a home with a garden. His energy levels aren't overbearing, but as he grows he will need more mental stimulation and having easy access to a garden and nice surrounding areas will help meet this need. Barney is very loyal and once he has bonded with someone, you have a true friend.

Cali and the rest of the litter were discovered upon our visit to Bosnia with their mother, abandoned inside the remains of a ruined house. This is a common dumping ground for litters of unwanted puppies and many puppies often don't survive their harsh treatment. Luckily, we came across this litter hours after they were dumped and were able to offer them some food, water and comfort before finding them a place in a shelter.
Cali is one of the smallest of the litter but doesn't let her size keep her from playing with her siblings. She loves to chase around after them and is a keen explorer too. Her sweet nature makes her irresistible and she welcomes a chin scratch at any time. Cali is laidback and gentle, and would make a lovely companion for a family looking to adopt.
She can be a little nervous with people she doesn't know, but once you've earned her trust, Cali is a friend for life. She enjoys human companionship and with patience and perhaps another dog to show her the ropes living life as a companion rather than just a street dog, she will make a great family friend.

Duckie was rescued from horrendous conditions in a public shelter outside Sarajevo. She had been living in an overcrowded kennel with no daylight and fed dry bread for the majority of her life. Her fur was in an awful state and her claws were so long they had grown back into her paw pads. Despite this awful neglect she is the most loving, comical and affectionate dog you will ever meet. She loves a tickle and a tummy scratch and just wants to be touching you at all times!
She was named Duckie due to her funny little webbed feet. She has fur missing on her body and tail due to her poor diet but now she is in a foster home she is being fed good quality dog food she is getting healthier ever day. She is also covered in sores from her neglect but these are now slowly healing. Although she might be a little bit of an ugly duckling now, she's definitely going to transform into a beauty with a little bit of tender loving care. Duckie is a gentle, loving dog who would make a great addition to any family. Her personality is fantastic and she wants nothing more than love.

Sweet Kiwi is the smallest sibling of her litter, abandoned with the rest of her family but thankfully very quickly rescued. Kiwi is a little shy with people she doesn't know, but quickly becomes your best friend after a few strokes and a treat or two. As she's been in a foster home she has some understanding of living in a home, and her young age makes her impressionable and adaptable when introduced to new situations.
Kiwi is affectionate and typically a clumsy and playful puppy. She is well socialised with other dogs and friendly with children as long as she is not overcrowded and treated gently. She is eager to please and will respond well to training, and we believe she will make an ideal companion to someone looking to add a puppy to their family.

One day, after three years the owners of Doxi decided they no longer wanted him and he was taken in by the shelter. The first three years of his life had been spent chained up in a garden, with little shelter for warmth and dryness and no luxury of cuddles and a warm cosy bed.
Now at the shelter he is thriving, strong and fit and full of energy he is looking for a family home. Doxi is part hunting breed and takes a keen interest in cats and small furries so can't be rehomed to a home with these. However he does get on well with other dogs and could go to a home where one is already established.
Life free from a chain, Doxi has a character that shines, very bouncy and playful and always happy to go for a walk, running round like a rocket. He is a devoted companion and would love to be a member of family. He has so much to offer but continues to be overlooked.
If you're interested in offering Doxi the life he deserves please get in touch!

Handsome Timmy was surrendered by his previous owners after they were unable to offer him adequate care. Timmy was offered care within a rescue organisation in Cyprus and here he is being cared for as he deserves. However, our aim is to find Timmy a family of his very own so he can be treated like the little prince he is.
Timmy is fully grown at the age of 2 years old but his small size boasts a big personality. Timmy is enthusiastic about every aspect of life and loves playing and chasing the other dogs in the foster home. He would be perfect for an active, outdoorsy family with a garden. He is keen to please and very smart, therefore he will respond well to training. He would be perfect for agility!
Timmy is well socialised with other dogs and great with people, but we would prefer that he goes to a home with children over the age of 8 due to this energetic nature. He doesn't have a bad bone in his body but is very activ and we wouldn't want this to overwhelm a young child.
If you're interested in offering Timmy a home please get in touch!

Hamish and Fergus were rescued from the edge of a village where they had been living off scraps of food for over a week. Although the locals had tried to catch them the puppies were like little eels and were worried for their safety if people came too close. After days of trying, finally someone was able to capture them and take them to the safety of a foster home. Here, they have continued to make fantastic progress ever since.
When the puppies were first rescued they were very timid and wouldn't approach people, even if treats were on offer. They craved the safety of one another and didn't trust humans, likely stemming from their abandonment. However, after a few days the pups seemed to realise they were no longer in danger, and their characters blossomed. Hamish barked with excitement when being fed his breakfast and the pair learned how exciting breakfast time was and the value of biscuits. Before long to the pair had absolutely zero worries and have continued to build bonds with their rescuers. He is very loving and gentle, adores playing and is a typical enthusiastic, clumsy puppy.
We are looking for an adopter with a relatively active lifestyle, lots of love to give, a desire to train (as Hamish is very smart and eager to please) and a home with a garden, as he loves to play. Kan was found chained outside a veterinary station unable to sit down with no food or water. It’s hard to believe this pup was skin and bones with a skin condition as he has come such a long way on his road to recovery. Kan is a true bundle of energy who loves to run, jump and play with people and loves nothing more than a water fight!
Kan loves to play with other dogs but is happiest when cuddling in someone’s lap. He doesn’t like it when other dogs bark at him, he may look like a big dog who can stand his ground but really he is a big softy! Kan is looking for an energetic family who love the outdoors and can provide lots of fun filled walks and are able to put the time in to help him become a fantastic companion. Kan really is a beautiful dog who deserves a loving home after spending the start of his life on the streets.

Nala was one of nine puppies that were found abandoned in a field at a very young and vulnerable age. Thankfully they were offered refuge with a local foster home and here they will remain until they're old enough to travel to their new homes.
The pups will grow to be of medium size and although they are all quite different in appearance we believe them to be Pointer mixes, perhaps with some Jura Hound and a little bit of terrier. They are definitely hunting breeds mixes, and sadly victims of abandonment like so many hunting dogs before them. They are putting on weight every day and becoming very confident. When they were first rescued they were subdued and terrified, but now they have sensed they are safe they are becoming more and more self assured every day.
The puppies are eating well and have a clean bill of health from the vet. They have started their course of vaccinations and will be ready to travel in the middle of July. They are socialised with other dogs and young enough to be integrated into a home with children. Although we can't guarantee their behaviour with cats, we can confirm they are presently living in a busy foster home in Cyprus which also houses lots of cats and other dogs of all sizes, so they have had some introduction to other animals.
Nala will need a moderately active home, preferably with a garden, and in a semi-rural area with lots of lovely surrounding areas to explore.
If you're interested in offering Nala a home please get in touch!

Gina is ready for her forever home! For ten months our co-founder Nikki Tibbles has fostered Gina, helping to rehabilitate and socialise this wonderful dog. Gina had a tough start. With an immense fear of people, particularly men, we found it difficult to find her a home, so Nikki took her in and with the close support and guidance of our resident behaviourist David Drew, she has helped Gina make great strides.
About Gina:
Gina is a sweet girl with a timid nature who adores cuddles and loves the great outdoors. Gina can still be slightly nervous in some situations but has improved significantly. She has a concern around men, however, once she bonds with her handler (which is not a long process) she quickly gains confidence and goes from strength to strength. She is extremely clever and eager to please, which allows her to learn quickly. It is important that Gina finds a suitable home where she receives the attention she needs and can feel at ease, adored and confident.
Her strengths and weaknesses:
Gina is very intelligent and loves a challenge. She is such a sweet, likable and loving dog with potential to build on her training which she has been excelling at. Gina will choose to avoid confrontation. Her weaknesses are her tendency to worry which can take over her rational thinking. If the environment is too much for her, Gina can shut down and stop responding to training. She can stand next to another dog without any concern, however if she feels threatened she can react towards it in an attempt to create distance. Traffic can cause a problem to her, however she has shown great improvement with this. If roads are not fast flowing she is able to walk along without any problem, but a heavy vehicle can scare her.
The type of home she needs:
Ideally with a female owner, although she is able to accept males, but they need to be very patient, consistent and calm around her to gain her trust. The difference in how Gina behaves around men and women is strikingly obvious. Dave (our trainer) has built a great relationship with her, and she is now comfortable with him, however if she had an option it would be a female trainer Gina would choose. She would also suit a single dog household, at least initially. A quiet street or rural area where there is little traffic would be ideal.
Gina enjoys exercise but will need to be kept on lead for a while until she has bonded with her new owner. An experienced owner would be able to bring Gina on beautifully. Gina is unable to make a correct choice when under pressure, and this is when she looks at her handler to help her, so creating a solid bond is crucial.
There are lots of film clips of Gina in training on David’s YouTube channel:

Following this operation she developed an infection, against all odds she pulled through and recovered. She sometimes loses her balance and gets a little shaky but despite this she is a loving, playful and happy dog. She loves people and loves to play and run around, when she starts to get tired she will sit down and rest. She is a little shy at first but is affectionate once she gets to know you. Lenny was found as an untagged stray by the Dagenham council warden and was adopted as an emergency death row case via a UK rescue centre. He was offered a loving home with a wonderful family but sadly Lenny has been finding it increasingly difficult to settle in this environment and the difficult decision has been made to find him somewhere more suited to his individual needs.
Lenny weighs 30kg and is a strong dog but boasts a gentle and affectionate disposition. He has a sweet nature and loves to befriend anyone and everyone. His size makes him too big and clumsy for young children, so we can only accept offers from families with older or no children so as not to overwhelm anyone. Lenny loves human company and is very cuddly. Unfortunately he can't be rehomed with other dogs due to his anxiety around them in a confined space. This is likely due to his background before his adoption.
Lenny is okay with most other dogs on walks but prefers not to be in close proximity of them. He doesn't have the urge to be a part of a pack as some other rescues do and would be perfectly suited to a home where he is the only dog and can be spoilt rotten. He is much more relaxed on his own. Lenny loves a lay in, is fully house trained and is very intelligent. He responds well to one on one training and is eager to please.
Lenny has a strong prey drive and therefore can't be rehomed with smaller pets. He also needs someone who can handle his strength when on the lead, but most importantly someone who will shower him with lots of love and cuddles and make him a beloved member of the family.
If you're interested in offering Lenny a home please get in touch!

Bruce was rescued from a horrible public shelter in Bosnia when we visited at the beginning of June. He was so friendly and enthusiastic we just couldn't leave him behind when he had so much potential to make a wonderful companion. Bruce takes everything in his stride and everything is exciting for him. He is such a greedy little thing and absolutely loves his food but shares from a bowl with another dog without a problem, which is great for a young dog deprived of food from a young age.
Bruce will grow to be medium to large in size as an adult. We believe he is a mix of Bosnian native breeds and these breed mixes make loyal, affectionate companions. He will require a moderately active lifestyle in a semi-rural area and need access to a garden as he is used to spending a lot of time outside. A garden will help to make the transition to a new life in a proper home easier for him. Bruce is great with other dogs and loves to play. He is also lazy and loves his sleep - he has an ability to sleep through any situation no matter how stressful this might be to a normal dog, Bruce does not care. He has such a comical but adorable personality.
Bruce is now in a foster home in Bosnia where he is receiving great care, a good diet, lots of love, and socialisation with many other dogs and children. He can also be cat tested if needed. If you're interested in offering Bruce a home please get in touch!

Sweet little Vixie has the same story as so many before her. She was found as stray on the streets and was overjoyed when someone finally paid her attention and took her home to keep her safe. She is now under our umbrella of care and we want to find her the home she so deserves.
Vixie is a very intelligent, responsive and gentle girl. She loves being around people and is great with other dogs. She is calm and obedient, and just wants someone to love her. She will patiently sit at your feet and wait for a stroke, but also loves to climb into your lap for a big cuddle. She will grow to be on the smaller side of medium as an adult we believe, and would make a great family companion.
Vixie is keen to please and will learn how to behave in her new home very quickly. As soon as she is shown some affection she becomes incredibly loyal and will shower you in love. All Vixie wants is for someone to care about her. She is so soppy and will make a wonderful companion. She is good with other dogs, disinterested in cats, and great with children.

Cheeky chappy Chicco is looking for his forever home. He's not always been treated so well so he can be a little nervous in new situations and therefore we are looking for a home in a semi-rural area away from busy traffic and lots of loud noises. Chicco loves to explore so he needs a home with a garden and would enjoy walks in scenic surrounding areas - anywhere with lots of interesting smells for him to follow!
Chicco is well socialised with other dogs but we believe young children would overwhelm him, as he's not used to spending time with them and doesn't like sudden movements or shrill noises. However, if treated respectfully and given his own space we believe Chicco will integrate well into a family unit.
Chicco is small in size with a great character. He is loving, enthusiastic and cheerful. He deserves a fantastic home where he can be showered with love and taken on lots of adventures. If you're interested in offering Chicco a home please get in touch!

Harry was one of nine puppies that were found abandoned in a field at a very young and vulnerable age. Thankfully they were offered refuge with a local foster home and here they will remain until they're old enough to travel to their new homes.
The pups will grow to be of medium size and although they are all quite different in appearance we believe them to be Pointer mixes, perhaps with some type of hound and a little bit of terrier.
Harry will need a moderately active home, preferably with a garden, and in a semi-rural area with lots of lovely surrounding areas to explore.
If you're interested in offering Harry a home please get in touch!

Maya and her siblings were the result of an unwanted litter and left without a home as young pups. Thankfully they were offered a foster home and have been able to enjoy their puppy months as deserved rather than fending for themselves and clinging onto life as some puppies unfortunately experience.
Maya is a cheeky, fun loving character. She is well socialised with other dogs and loves playing with her brother and sister. She would enjoy a home with another playful dog and we think this would also improve her confidence. A typical puppy, Maya is friendly, cheeky and loves to explore. Her little tail wags at everything and she love s a chin scratch.
Maya is young enough to be integrated into a home with children, although presents no issues whatsoever with anyone so as long as children are always respectful and understanding of her space and needs, she will make a fabulous companion.
If you're interested in offering Maya a home please get in touch!

Lovely Teddy was rescued looking like a rag doll. His fur was dirty and matted and he could hardly see through his tremendous fringe. Since he was discovered he has been for a haircut and is now feeling much more fresh in the height of the Cyprus summer, and smelling much nicer too!
Teddy is a docile dog with a friendly character and as many Poodles boast, a very affectionate streak. Teddy loves his cuddles and would fit right into a family looking for a companion to shower with love. He is medium in size and will need moderate upkeep to maintain his beautiful coat but this is nothing that a local groomer can't do.
Teddy is good with other dogs, calm, playful and enjoys being outside. He's spent too long without a family and now it's time for him to be treated as he deserves. If you're interested in offering Teddy a home please get in touch!

Layla was abandoned after she was found to be a useless hunting dog, a fate that so many of these hunting breeds suffer. She was taken to a shelter which was unfortunately extremely overcrowded and the dogs were crammed into cages with no exercise and had to compete for food and water. Layla sat patiently behind the bars waiting for someone to rescue her, and finally, they did.
Layla is now being cared for in a foster home where she will be fattened up, given some love and affection, and kept safe and sound until a forever home sees her potential and offers her the home she deserves. Layla is a gentle, calm and quiet soul who would love a home with a relaxed atmosphere, a relatively active lifestyle, and perhaps another dog to help her gain some confidence. We believe that she will bond with children, but due to her tough lifestyle and slightly more reserved personality we would prefer a home with only older children, so as not to overwhelm Layla.

Connie is urgently seeking a home a the pound in which she currently resides has been declared by the council as overcrowded, which means the dogs that have been there the longest are under threat of being put to sleep unless they can find homes. Connie is among those in danger.
Connie has a fantastic temperament and would make a great family companion. Pointer crossbreeds are renowned for their wonderful characteristics and ability to integrate successfully into a family unit, and we believe Connie fits this stereotype perfectly.
Connie would enjoy a relatively active lifestyle given her Pointer genes. She loves to run and explore, so a home near to the countryside or large parks would make her very happy. She is a very friendly dog and has no trouble befriendly other dogs as well as humans. Her happy-go-lucky nature makes her a great playmate and she is very loyal and affectionate.

Atlas become a resident of the Cyprus pound after being spotted roaming about as a stray. He was swiftly rescued and taken to the pound where he will be cared for until a forever home is found for the handsome boy.
Atlas is a large dog and will need an active lifestyle with a strong owner. However Atlas is also incredibly smart so will really enjoy training classes. This will help to mentally stimulate him as well as build a strong bond with his new owner. Given the right training, Atlas will grow to be a hugely loyal and respectful companion.
Atlas is only just settling into the pound so we are yet to have a full assessment of his interactions with other dogs, but so far he has shown no issues. He is a strong dog though and underestimates his strength so we would recommend him to a home with children only if they're slightly older, as his bouncy character may overwhelm smaller children and we wouldn't want anybody feeling upset.

Elderly Baron was found abandoned and confused, likely discarded due to his old age. He was offered a foster home in which to reside until he finds his forever home and has since been much happier, so he has clearly belonged to someone at some point. Despite efforts to reunite him with possible owners, no one ever came forward to claim him and so we have begun the search for his new home where he can enjoy his last few years.
Baron has a fantastic character and is very gentle with everyone. At night he sleeps with the puppies in the foster home and cares for them as if they were his own. He has also shown no issues with cats, and is great with people. He's an old soul now so Baron would like a calm home where he can be offered lots of love and nice walks. He enjoys the outdoors and loves to sniff.
Baron is just as deserving of a forever home as the younger dogs, so please don't overlook him just because of his age. If you're interested in Baron please get in touch!

Beautiful Vito was a bag of nerves upon being rescued. Slowly, after understanding that not all humans will neglect him, Vito has started to gain confidence and is now trusting his rescuers. He is a gentle dog and just seeks love and affection. He loves a chin scratch and as he continues to gain confidence we believe that Vito will make an incredibly loyal companion.
His larger size means we are rehoming him only to homes with slightly older children. Vito doesn't have a bad bone in his body but in an excited mood he could easily forget his strength and we would hate to overwhelm a small child. Vito would love an active lifestyle with a home that has nearby fields, parks and country walks. He loves to explore and being outside is where he truly feels comfortable. As he experiences love this will all change.

Lulu was dumped in the pound one evening and left absolutely terrified by her experience. Thankfully, when the pound attendant came round the next morning (pictures taken that morning) he realised there was no way the poor little pup could stay in the confines of the kennel, she needed caring for.
Thankfully Lulu was small enough to be squeezed into a foster home and integrated without any issues at all. She is very well socialised with other dogs and enjoys the rough and tumble play time that other young dogs offer her. She loves to explore, has a cheeky personality, and wags her tail at absolutely everything. All this little girl wants is to be loved. She is full of character and is very happy go lucky.
Lulu will remain small in size even as an adult. As soon as she was let out of the pound her body language changed dramatically and she trusted people without hesitation. Lulu will make a fiercely loyal companion and devoted friend. She is good with other dogs, cats and children, and would therefore be perfect for any families looking for a small sized pup to welcome home.

Ron is one of an unfortunate litter who found themselves dumped and left for dead in a cardboard box by a river. Sadly, one of the puppies didn't make it, but the others regained full health quickly and are now looking for their forever homes.
The pups are predicted to be small sized adults when older and Beagle crossbreeds. They will need fairly active lifestyles and should all have access to a garden, as Beagles love to be outside exploring as much as they can. The puppies are young enough to be introduced into a home with children, cats and other dogs, and will grow to be well socialised as they are now in a foster home where they will receive love and care until they are old enough to fly.

Bardsey is a little bundle of happiness who wants nothing more than a great family to call his own. He was rescued from the streets as a stray but it's likely that at some point this ray of sunshine belonged to someone as he is great with people and thrives on human company.
Bardsey hates the confines of the pound and loves to run and play when the volunteers come to visit. He is obedient, friendly, affectionate and gentle. He would make an ideal family dog and is good with children, as well as being well socialised with other dogs. Bardsey is enthusiastic about everything and loves to explore. He would be very happy in a home with a garden where he could explore and run at his leisure, as this can't be provided at the pound.
Bardsey is small in size and adaptable in nature. He builds very positive relationships with people quickly and loves a fuss. He just needs someone to offer him an opportunity to become their beloved companion. If you're interested in offering Bardsey a home please get in touch!

Elly is a gorgeous German Pointer found abandoned and living rough in a small village in Cyprus. It's likely that she had been dumped by someone and she was waiting around for them to return. By the time she was rescued she was very malnourished and in need of some serious TLC. Four months later, Elly has gained weight, confidence, and is a happy and healthy girl waiting to find her forever home.
Elly is a little timid around people she doesn't know but once you've gained her trust she becomes the most affectionate soul and enjoys human companionship. Shes very good with children as long as they're gentle around her, she's socialised with other dogs, and she's not interested in cats (please note environmental changes can elicit behavioural changes and Pointers have an instinctively high prey drive so this is not a guarantee).

Solo was one of nine puppies that were found abandoned in a field at a very young and vulnerable age.
Solo will need a moderately active home, preferably with a garden, and in a semi-rural area with lots of lovely surrounding areas to explore.

Buddy was rescued from a council pound and was in a bad way. His leg and pelvis were broken and needed three operations to correct them, but Buddy made a full recovery and is now ready to find a family of his own. Despite Buddy's previous neglect he is a very forgiving dog with a lovely nature and a big heart. He is gentle with a laidback disposition, and he needs someone with a moderately active lifestyle to help him continue to build strength in his back end.
Buddy is gorgeous, but sadly he doesn't fall into the 'cute and fluffy' category, which means he won't find a home as quickly as many of our other dogs. If you're reading this we are asking you to look beyond the exterior (even though he is super handsome anyway) and consider that this dog needs someone to love him and respect him the way a companion should be. He is yet to experience that and he deserves it so much. With love and understanding Buddy will make a devoted friend and you won't regret giving him a chance.
Buddy is also living in a foster home at present, so he is used to being indoors and has some understanding of a human routine. He is socialised with other dogs and great with people. If you're interested in offering Buddy a home please get in touch!

Lovely Harriet is a beautiful girl looking for her forever home. So far she's had no luck and has been overlooked by lots of potential adopters looking for a small and fluffy addition to their family. Fluffy she might not be, but Harriet has an amazing character and would love to have a home of her own where she can be loved and cuddled to her heart's content.
Harriet is a stunning colour and has a super friendly personality. She loves to get involved with everything and living in a pound means she is enthusiastic about all the little things in life. She deserves so much more than just being behind bars in a shelter. She needs a warm home with lots of walks, people to play with and places to run and explore.
Her affectionate nature is adorable and all she wants is to show her adoration to everyone. She would make an amazing family companion and is looking for a relatively active home. She could easily live alongside other dogs and will be easy to train as she is so smart and eager to please. If you're interested in offering Harriet a home please get in touch!

Little Piper and his sister Pippa were abandoned as tiny puppies. Thankfully they were offered a foster home within Cyprus and been well looked after since their rescue, but now Piper needs a home of his own. Piper is a very small little dog and will remain small in size even as an adult. He can be unsure in new situations but with patience and reassurance, especially in the form of cheese or hot dog sausage, he will gain confidence.
Piper is used to spending time with lots of other dogs in his foster home and we feel a home with another already established dog would be ideal to help him integrate more quickly. Once he creates a bond with a person he is keen to please and likes to be cuddled. Piper needs a home away from the city centre as loud, unfamiliar noises can frighten him, which is very common in rescue dogs with rough starts. He is a low maintenance dog and would love someone to shower him in the affection he deserves.
